Winter Watercolor Holiday Card Workshop
Wednesday & Thursday, Nov 18 – 19, 12:30 – 3:30pm
Create something truly personal for the holidays!
The Branford Art Studio is excited to welcome watercolor instructor Jody Lynn for a special two-day workshop where students will create an original winter-themed watercolor designed with holiday greeting cards in mind.
Over the course of two afternoons, Jody will guide students through the process of developing and painting a seasonal watercolor from start to finish. She will provide reference images and inspiration, and students are also encouraged to bring a favorite photo or image of a winter scene they would like to paint.
Think snowy New England landscapes, a favorite home decorated for the holidays, winter birds, evergreens, a peaceful shoreline scene—or something completely your own.
In addition to watercolor instruction, Jody will share practical pointers for turning your finished artwork into custom holiday greeting cards. Students will learn about options for reproducing their paintings through commercial printing services as well as ways to print cards at home.
By the end of the workshop, you’ll have an original piece of seasonal artwork—and the know-how to turn it into a holiday greeting you can share with family and friends.
All levels are welcome. Space is limited, so early registration is encouraged.
Tuition: $70. Materials not included. Instructions for printing cards will be provided.
