Late Fall 2026 Watercolor Painting Course with Jody Lynn

4 Week Watercolor Painting Class for Adult Students

Wednesday Mornings, Sept 30 – Oct 21, 9am – 12pm

Discover the beauty and versatility of watercolor painting in this welcoming beginner course for adults at The Branford Art Studio.

This fall, we’re delighted to welcome Shoreline watercolor artist Jody Lynn back to The Branford Art Studio. Jody brings more than 20 years of experience teaching watercolor, including previous classes right here at the Studio. Her approachable teaching style makes this course an ideal introduction for anyone who has always wanted to explore watercolor — or who would like to return to the basics and strengthen their skills.

Designed for beginner watercolor students, this course will introduce you to the essential techniques and materials needed to create successful watercolor paintings. Students will explore topics such as watercolor washes, color mixing, brush techniques, layering, controlling water and pigment, and creating depth, texture, and light.

Through demonstrations, guided exercises, and individual instruction, Jody will help students build confidence while developing their own approach to this expressive and rewarding medium.

No previous watercolor experience is required. Whether you’re picking up a watercolor brush for the first time or looking for a supportive environment to refresh your skills, you’ll find plenty of inspiration and encouragement.

Join us this fall and experience the joy of watercolor with an accomplished local artist and experienced instructor. We’re thrilled to have Jody back at The Branford Art Studio!

Tuition: $125. Materials not included.
